On the lower staves of this page, the previous notation and some of the script for the Kyrie has been scraped and overwritten with a much more compact script, as well as a compressed notation. This appears to have been done to accommodate changes on the Folio 26v, when another Kyrie melody was inserted. These inserted chants are part of a new mass melody for De festis duplicibus majoribus.
